About Origin Point

Origin Point was born of the belief that the "name brand" Portals, in their headlong rush to One Up each other, have simply become too cluttered and confusing. They seem to be of the philosophy that the more they can pack in to a page, the better they are.

We believe the opposite. We believe that a simple, clean interface is a more pleasant web experience. If you want to conduct a search, or check your eMail, do you really want to dig through a pile of links and banners just to get to your purpose for visiting? We don't think so.

Toward that end, we will keep the banner advertising to a minimum. We will, of course, have some advertising as we wouldn't be in business very long if we couldn't pay for the site! We will also always strive to keep the page free of "filler", so that you can quickly find what you're seeking and move on to the next project in your busy life.
